Seine erste Ausstellung war das Werk Betende bei der 8. Essener Jugendkunstausstellung im Welterbe Zeche Zollverein.
- Teilnahme bei der IENA 2019, Messe Nürnberg. Malerei Roland Scheel mit den Werken aus der Reihe „Europa. Der Gang in die Zukunft“ und KIT-Initiative „Umsetzung der Problemlösung Bildungsnotstand“. Bei der Kick Off Veranstaltung zum Innovationsmeeting wurden diverse Modelle vorgestellt. Roland Scheel-Rübsam sprach über „Malerei und Europa“.
- Dauerausstellung im Standesamt der Stadt Essen – Ruhrgebiet. Die beiden Kunstwerke „Tag 3“ und „Tag 4“ aus der Reihe „Kunst aus Essen- Grüne Hauptstadt 2017- Kunst auf Recyclingpapier“ sind ab April 2019 im Standesamt Essen ständig ausgestellt.
